Volunteering

Even under extreme heat warnings, our street cleaners work tirelessly to keep our community clean. Their dedication deserves our greatest respect.

To show our gratitude to these unsung heroes, our Kerry Group Volunteering team partnered with Caritas Labour-Friendly Community Project to deliver herbal tea and show care to street cleaners in various districts.

In the Lunar New Year, colleagues and their families presented handwritten thank-you cards and small gifts for the holiday.

During the summer, our volunteers brought the local cleaners for a relaxing sunset walk along the waterfront. Although they work here every day, they usually head straight home and rarely have the chance to explore the neighbourhood after work. 

Besdies, we also visited cleaners in Tai Wai and Tai Wo Hau to conduct basic blood pressure and blood sugar checks, offering gentle reminders to prioritize their health in their daily lives. 

This is an initiative of 'Caritas Labour-Friendly Communities Project', supported by Kerry Group, to promote health, safety and dignity of cleaning workers.
