The road to recovery for the community remains long in the aftermath of the devastating fire. The elderly living in Kwong Fuk Estate, next to Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, have faced significant disruptions to their daily lives, leaving many anxious and vulnerable.

In early March, the Kerry Group Jigsaw Volunteer Team visited nearly 200 elderly households, 61 colleagues and their families distributed warm CNY goodie bags while fostering community connections. Through gentle conversations, the volunteers alleviated feelings of fear and loneliness and assessed the elderly's well-being and needs. This vital information enabled The Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong Social Service - Fuk Hong Neighbourhood Elderly Centre to provide timely support. May kindness continue to spread, ensuring that our elderly feel remembered, loved, and protected by their community.
