City As Canvas Mural Art Painting Volunteer Service
In November to December, 120 colleagues transformed the walls at "Blossom Residence, the Kwai Chung transitional housing, operated by Society for Community Organization, into a colourful and dynamic community masterpiece. The mural art is designed by Riitta Kuisma, a local Finnish artist, to showcase the beauty of Hong Kong with elements of the nature.
Partnered with Paint Beautiful HK, the wall art aims to beautify the neighbourhood and increase the sense of belonging of the residents there, it also helps to bring the community closer together through art. Residents, students and public volunteers were also invited to complete the artwork together.
