Volunteering

Education is not only about grades. More importantly, children's interest in learning shall be nurtured from a young age for better development in the future. Jigsaw volunteers and Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres co-organized an online English learning program from March to April 2021 for children from low-income families.

Jigsaw volunteers taught the youngsters English via mini-games and fun workshops. The one-to-one online sessions provided a happy and relaxed environment for children to make trials and errors, while help building their confidence for mastering a foreign language. Easter Party was held in April where volunteers and children finally met each other in person.
