Volunteering

Studying can be challenging, especially for single moms. Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres (HKFWC) organized the 'One Day We Can Fly' program for a group of single moms to have the opportunity to resume studies, pursue their interests and improve upward social mobility.

To support single moms in the challenging journey, Kerry Group Jigsaw Volunteers partnered with HKFWC to launch a buddy program from August to December. Volunteers gave encouragement, industry insights and career advice to these single moms through gatherings and casual dialogues. 

This is an initiative supported by the Kerry Group. Through scholarships, single moms are able to continue to develop their talents, establish self-confidence and improve their job opportunities by obtaining tertiary education.
