Home Repair Services for Seniors
In Hong Kong, many seniors from underprivileged backgrounds are still living in old and crumbling flats which are deeply in need of renovation. However, renovation or even simple repairs are unaffordable to them.
In light of this problem, Kerry Engagement partnered with the Repair Fairy Association to help people in need renovate their homes. A one-day training session was provided to equip Jigsaw volunteers with skills such as lock installation, shower heads and taps repair, as well as drilling. Upon completion of training, Jigsaw Repair Fairies visited homes of seniors in need and helped create a safer and more comfortable home for them.
