Kindness Walk to Visit Street Sleepers

Homelessness has become more visible in Hong Kong in recent years due to the pandemic. The state of homeless is a complex result of possible reasons such as alcohol addiction, drug abuse, difficulty in finding housing after discharged from psychiatric wards or prisons, and many more.

In September, Jigsaw volunteers joined the Kindness Walks to visit homeless in Sham Shui Po and Tai Kok Tsui, and distribute daily neccessities such as food, water, masks to street sleepers. The Kindness Walk is one of the regular outreach programs organised by Impact HK  as a means of showing care and kindness to the homeless and slowly gaining their trust, so that there could be proper intervention to help them turn their lives around.
