"Tech Joy Tours" Elderly Volunteering Service
Practice makes habit! Kerry Group Jigsaw Volunteer Team collaborated with Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service to accompany seniors to the shopping mall in the Choi Hung District from April to May, practicing using QR codes for ordering food and self-checkout at supermarkets. This not only allowed them to experience the convenience of technology but also boosted their confidence, helping them integrate more smoothly into daily life. During the event, we observed that the seniors gradually overcame their initial nervousness and began to develop good usage habits. Seniors and volunteers also enjoyed a delicious lunch together, fostering friendships through conversation, making the event a memorable and joyful experience!
