Caring for animals and respecting life starts young. In mid-May, we co-organized a Parent-Child Eco-Tour with the Sai Kung District Community Centre and The Turtle’s Inn, offering 60 colleagues and their kids a warm weekend of profound life education.
The founder of The Turtle's Inn shared moving rescue stories, reminding us that many adopt pets on a whim but overlook the decades-long responsibility, which highlights that true care requires a lifelong commitment. Through hands-on tasks like preparing meals, cleaning shelters, and observing the turtles' needs, the children learned to respect life and embrace accountability. To wrap up, families unleashed their creativity to co-create unique 'Turtle-themed Print Bags,' taking home both a conservation pledge and beautiful weekend memories.
