Volunteering

Don’t waste food, share it instead! Kerry Group Jigsaw Volunteer team collaborated with the People Service Centre "Food Friend Action" project, to organize 5 wet market food rescue services from April to June. Volunteers rescued approximately 371kg of food and then distributed to families and elderly in need, helping to alleviate their financial burdens. Our goal is not only to raise awareness about food waste, but also the living conditions and needs of low income families in Hong Kong.

This initiative is supported by the Kerry Group and the “Environment and Conservation Fund” of the Environmental Protection Department, with the aim to ease the financial burden on low-income households and promote a food wise culture in the community.
