Summer Care for Subdivided Flats Families
02:00 pm - 05:00 pm
Sham Shui Po

Did you know that 210,000 people live in subdivided flats in HK, and the average living space per person is only 57 sq ft? Living in the subdivided flats means not only enduring cramped space but also coping with sweltering temperatures as high as 40°C during the hot summer!

Join us to make this summer more bearable for subdivided flats residents by distributing necessities which includes electric fans, cooling patches and cold drinks.

Venue: YWCA Chi Po Neighbourhood Elderly Centre, Sham Shui Po

Volunteer Roles:

1) Pack and distribute summer cooling kits to subdivided flats dwellers in YWCA Elderly Centre

2) Distribute electric fans to elderly and families living in subdivided flats in Sham Shui Po

3) Conduct survey to understand the living condition and daily needs of subdivided flats dwellers

Remarks

- Both Cantonese and English speaking volunteers are welcome to join.

- Welcome to invite one family member or friend aged 10 or above.
