Kids can volunteer from home even during the pandemic! Let’s bring joy to seniors in elderly homes via Zoom with your 2 to 12 year old children.
Service Period: 8 May to 31 July, once a month, 3 sessions, 30 mins per session (Volunteers can chat with the elderly via zoom anytime between Mon to Sat 2:30-4pm)
Online Volunteer Briefing Session: 28 April, Wednesday 1-2pm
Online Volunteer Sharing Session: 4 August, Wednesday 1-2pm
You and your children are welcome to chat with the elderly or do some performance (such as singing, dancing, playing instruments etc) to cheer the elderly up during the zoom calls.
- Volunteers who speak Cantonese are welcome.
- Each family will be paired with 1 elderly throughout the programme.
- Welcome to invite more than 1 child to join.
- This programme is co-organised by Jigsaw and the Methodist Centre’s Multi-disciplinary Outreaching Support Team for the Elderly.
